Materials

 

There are some normal materials for cloth diapers and accessories. we stock them at our workshop for quick production and allow small MOQ to support new business.

 

* PUL 

Stands for Polyurethane Laminate, basing lightweight polyester interlock (knit) fabric, laminated with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), a thin stretchy plastic transparent film which is waterproof and breathable.

 

These two components are bonded together into the single fabric using a combination of heat, pressure, and adhesive. Soft and waterproof, often used as outer of cloth diapers and pads.   

 

* Minky PUL

The minky fabric is made with 100% polyester and 2mm pile on its surface, eliminates the need to sew in that extra PUL layer – the transparent PU membrane is laminated directly on to the back of the minky fabric, super soft on one side, and waterproof on the other.

 

It is popular as a diaper’s outer layer, also be used for single layer bibs, wipes, wetbags, blankets, change mats and more. It will not shrink and can be embroidered.

 

 

 

* Suede cloth

Suedecloth is thinner than microfleece but has many of the same qualities(soft, absorbent, stay dry) that make it perfect for diaper inner, wicks moisture away from baby, resists staining, doesn;t hold poo. doesn’t pill and stays new-looking longer than microfleece.

 

 

 

* Microfleece 

Made with 100% polyester, a superior moisture-wicking diaper fabric. used next to baby's skin to keep baby feeling dry and comfortable even in a wet diaper. resists staining, and does not hold poo, so soft and cushy for baby.

 

This is the fleece you need for your stay dry layer on soakers, diaper linings, and also preferred by women for topping mama pads / menstrual cloth.

* Microfiber

Usually 75% polyester 25% polyamide, and is a great diaper fabric for soakers and inserts as very soft and absorbent. It traps moisture between its fibers and can absorb up to 8 times its weight in liquid, light and thin, dry quickly and gets more absorbent with use.

 

 

* Bamboo terry

Bamboo terry with loops on the surface, very absorbent, naturally anti-bacterial, and won't hold odors. It has a very silky and luxurious feel and stays soft after wash.

 

An environmentally friendly fabric, often used in diaper inserts, breast pads and mama pad, and sometimes as lining of the diapers.

 

 

 

* Bamboo fleece

55% bamboo 45% cotton fleece has a soft fleecy surface on one side and a smooth interlock surface on the other. highly breathable, more absorbent than cotton, softer than cotton and it's also naturally anti bacterial.

 

Perfect for cloth diaper, mama pad, breast pad and diaper inserts.

 

 

* Bamboo velour

Super soft bamboo velour created from 55% Bamboo, 23% Cotton and 22% Polyester, polyester gives it more durability than the fleece, delightfully silky.

 

Babies especially love the feel of the bamboo velour against their skin making it especially great for baby and mom products: diapers, mama pads, breast pads, baby blankets and wipes.

 

 

* Bamboo charcoal

Similar to microfleece as soft and absorbent, but addition of bamboo charcoal brings new property of odor resistant to the fabric, perfect for diaper’s lining, stay-dry inserts and menstrual pads.

 

 

* Hemp fleece

stretch knit fleece made from 55% Hemp and 45% organic cotton, with a soft fleecy surface on one side and a smooth interlock surface on the other. slightly stretchy and extremely absorbent. Knit in a light creamy natural color.

Quietly heavy but doesn't mean bulky. Hemp makes wonderfully trim diapers with superior absorbency to cotton diapers, and has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties to boot. a beautiful fabric for  breast pads, menstrual pads and diaper boosters.

 

 

 

* Athletic wicking jersey

Wicking jersey pulls moisture away from the skin and into the absorbent part of the diaper. great for lining pocket diapers, diaper covers, swim diaper, and also to make stay-dry inserts.

Durable and easy to care for, quick to dry. Does not retain stains. This fabric is thinner than microfleece or suedecloth, has a soft silky feel, and will stretch across the width.

* Flannel

Woven  flannel made from 100% natural cotton, so light and dreamy soft, suitable for many projects like cloth diaper, mama pad , breast pad, and bibs.

* KAM snaps 

Snaps aren't really a diaper fabric, but they're an integral part of snapped cloth diapers. We only use polyactel resin snaps - the most durable snaps available. Unlike metal snaps, these snaps won't rust or warp, and are unaffected by urine. They hold up to repeated laundering but please do not boil them! The snapped areas on our diapers are reinforced to stand up to everyday wear and tear.
